Believers turn your ear toward this message. You will be hated and insulted by the cynics, the wicked and the rude. This message will fall on deaf ears, but the enlightened, wise and reasoned will hear me. Brothers and sisters, we can longer drape a label around ourselves with the expectation of doing so has made us a good person because of good works.
You must wipe away that label for it only hides your walk with God. You cannot do good deeds draped under a cloak of false virtue. Turn away leaders and false gods who want to think for you, who tell you what to think. You hide you under a cloak, you let others think for you and do your “good deeds” for you. This is wrong.
Turn away others who say...
You don't need to do good works for I can do it for you. You don't need to take care of the poor, I can do it for you. You don't need to take care of the widow and orphans for I will do it for you. Give your good deeds to me and I will make them more plentiful. This is a lie.
This lie will steal from your soul, your life’s purpose, your vision and your legacy that God has in-store for you. Serving THEM leads to your own destruction -it destroys YOU. You will have handed them the rope with which they will hang you. To fall for this is like taking your own heart, your children's heart and giving it to the darkness. Do not worship false idols, this leads to your own destruction and your children’s destruction by your own hands.
Covering yourself in this darkness and hiding under its label of virtue is wrong.
Believing that passing on your deeds, your gifts to others for them to control does not make you a good person. That is a false label that will serve you and your family into darkness. Not doing YOUR good works and handing them over to a “master” does not make you a good person. Hiding your eyes away from the leaders who take your power and your deeds away from you in the name of “good” for their own glory, ego, power and control does not make you a good person. Forcing others to give away their deeds for the sake of your ego does not make you a good person. Closing your eyes to leaders who play God, leaders who try to tell you that it’s a moral good for society to end life does not make you virtuous.
Supporting leaders, or being a leader that takes power and control away from the people does not make you a good person. Living life to control another’s life, ending the life of the innocence, wielding power over other’s production, taking their feet out from under them, crippling their mind from ever reaching fertile soil does not make you a virtuous person. It does, however, make you a master.
People are good not by their cloaks of labels they drape to signal their virtue. Good and virtuous people are good by their deeds, the fruits of their labor, the work they do in their home, how they THEMSELVES take care of the poor, the homeless, the widowed, the orphaned, the lonely, the broken, the lost and the found. What they do THEMSELVES to love one another in God is what makes them virtuous.
You cannot transfer your purpose, your calling, your deeds to your neighbor, your government, your leaders… to do so makes you a slave to them. You are worse off if you force others into the darkness without their consent, forcing others to give away their choice does not make you a good person even if the majority say it is right. Remember the majority voiced a vote to have Jesus crucified on the cross? Majority vote does not equate to right. When you vote and support the force of government to do your “good” works for you and for others you are hiding behind a cloak of false goodness. By doing so you make the thief look honorable for they do not hide their deeds under a cloak of good labels.
“And when you sin against other believers by encouraging them to do something they believe is wrong, you are sinning against Christ.”
1 Corinthians 8:12 NLT
People of wisdom, do not give your power away, do not be drained by the darkness. Live your life to serve the Lord in a world that needs you in it… do your good deeds. Live out your purpose, God’s love is shown from individual people loving each other as the Lord has loved you. Be the light.
The government won’t love you. You are wrong to tell the government to love you and to love others for you. It is wrong to force others to give their power away as you have. You might as well tell the rock to love you and your neighbor, then hate the rock because it’s not doing what is asked of it. You keep expecting that one day all that we know of the rock will be different and this is a fool's wish. The rock will not love you or your neighbor, to rely on the rock to produce love is a passionate and emotional ferry tale that only produces heartbreak, it is an idol you are worshiping, it’s a rock you are believing that will provide for you when in fact only God can provide.
It is wrong for you to force others to transfer their good deeds to the rock. It will never love like God has given you have the ability to do so. To live fully, you must take your purpose and your deeds and go walk in love. God won’t leave your side when you do this. For your deeds in love for your neighbor, your children, your family, and your nation will bring the light and push out the darkness.
Speak the truth, support those among you who empower your individual good deeds. Turn away from the force of others who steal your deeds for the purpose of THEIR ego, THEIR glory and ultimately your own destruction.
“The Lord gave me another message. He said, “Go and shout this message to Jerusalem. This is what the Lord says: “I remember how eager you were to please me as a young bride long ago, how you loved me and followed me even through the barren wilderness.
Listen to the word of the Lord, people of Jacob—all you families of Israel! This is what the Lord says: “What did your ancestors find wrong with me that led them to stray so far from me? They worshiped worthless idols, only to become worthless themselves. They did not ask, ‘Where is the Lord who brought us safely out of Egypt and led us through the barren wilderness— a land of deserts and pits, a land of drought and death, where no one lives or even travels?’ “And when I brought you into a fruitful land to enjoy its bounty and goodness, you defiled my land and corrupted the possession I had promised you. The priests did not ask, ‘Where is the Lord?’ Those who taught my word ignored me, the rulers turned against me, and the prophets spoke in the name of Baal, wasting their time on worthless idols. Therefore, I will bring my case against you,” says the Lord. “I will even bring charges against your children’s children in the years to come. “Go west and look in the land of Cyprus; go east and search through the land of Kedar. Has anyone ever heard of anything as strange as this? Has any nation ever traded its gods for new ones, even though they are not gods at all? Yet my people have exchanged their glorious God for worthless idols! The heavens are shocked at such a thing and shrink back in horror and dismay,” says the Lord. “For my people have done two evil things: They have abandoned me— the fountain of living water. And they have dug for themselves cracked cisterns that can hold no water at all!”
Jeremiah 2:1-2, 4-13 NLT
Take off your labels and cast them into the darkness and set your focus to love.
Young people, take your passion and seek out guidance from those who have come before you. The world needs you, for God has a plan for your life. God gave you a gift and a calling. Seek counsel from the wise, spend time with the Lord building a foundation with his word. Seek counsel in your church, find a mentor that gives glory to God.
“Then at last the people will look to their Creator and turn their eyes to the Holy One of Israel. They will no longer look to their idols for help or worship what their own hands have made. They will never again bow down to their Asherah poles or worship at the pagan shrines they have built.”
Isaiah 17:7-8 NLT
Young people, you are needed and you have a purpose. You are fresh lungs to a wise body. Take your passion and seek wisdom. Your calling in your heart will be blessed when you walk with the Lord. Take off the cloak of virtue that hides who you are and your true purpose. Don’t talk of forcing the rock to do your life’s work, you must actually do the good works yourself.
Turn away from the path of darkness and set your eyes on God. Look inward and take your passion, take your love and you yourself go with God, go forward and do good deeds. Love your neighbor, love your parents, love the window, love the orphan, love the poor. Don’t give your deeds away. Don’t expect anyone to do your deeds and don’t support others who want to take this away from you.
Believers who love with their heart filled with God’s love can change the world. Believers who walk in love of God will make a better nation. This is the change you are seeking, reflect inward and act, go out into the world, into your home, go toward your neighbor and be of service. This will change your life, this will change the world. Everything that is good is from the Lord and he will provide your strength and nourishment.
In order to be strong, happy, fulfilled you must follow your calling and walk with purpose in the Lord. He has a plan for your life, he has a purpose for your heart, walk with Him in love. The Lord has given you a gift, take the love you have inside of you and share it with the world one person at a time. This will bring you peace in your heart. This will bring you closer to him. This will bring upon the change you wish to see in the world. Return to Him, Return to His foundation, return.
